3 outfits. Same Pants. Around $50 each.

3 outfits. Same Pants. Around $50 each.

So, for this week, I have 3 outfits with the same pants. These excellent sequin pants are only $20, marked down from $68. Fantastic. I tried to incorporate different colored sequins in the tops and accessories. For outfit #1 I have a beautiful light blue cropped shirt and paired with it a gorgeous gold bird necklace. All together the shirt and necklace $25.80. He second I went for a more nautical them with the sequin anchor tank with anchor earnings from Forever 21. The shirt and earrings together are $11.49. Now for my third and last outfit, I paired the black shorts with an extremely amazing Snow White shirt from the Disney store. I love the detail of the sequin bow and lips. It is on sale from $68 to now $33 and I paired this with a heart bag from Betsey Johnson for $29. Yes, this out fit is quite a lot more expensive but the Shirt just looked so amazing with the shorts. Also, it was the only bag I could find  that really matched the sequin color. I love it!

Yesterday, I received my Book Of Shadows from Hautelook. I swatched some of the colors and they are beautiful. I need some time to play with the shadows and time to wear them to give a full review of the product, so that should be coming out shortly!

I hope everyone had an excellent Mardi Gras, I know I did. We celebrated Mardi Gras in French by having a food day. The day before I made 50 some sugar cookies and iced them all, all in the shape of a voodoo doll. I loved giving everyone cookies, just seeing it on their faces how happy they were to get a cookie made me smile. And BTW: cookies and baked goods are like currency in High School. People will trade anything for cookies. I traded a friend 3 cookies so I could have the chair we fight over for the day. It was worth it and I think he thought so too.

Farewell for now, but not for long.

Price Difference Outfit 1st

Price Difference 1

Like I could even wait. It is a Sunday and Sundays are dull and I do not like them. So here, my friend, my first fashion VS. So here, I display Floral pants, lace blouses, bow necklaces, and brown oxfords. Very fabulous. And everything for my cheaper version is under $25 except for my shirt. The Shirt was perfect, and I really didn't find anything else. Of course you could always find a lace tank top. I saw one from Forever 21 that would look nice with the outfit. Not so much when replicating the expensive. Just setting up a model. I'm working on more like these. Any comments? Advice? Opinion? Let me know!
Farewell for now, but not for long.

"You broke my Smolder."

So, I my have over estimated Hautelook shipping. I read somewhere that the product leaves the warehouse in about a day, but then I went to check on estimated arrival, it is said between the 23rd and 29th. I was not going to wait that long to make another post. So I thought I would talk about Disney. I'm actually watching Tangled on Netflix. I love the movie. Disney princesses are awesome. Anything Disney, actually. This past Christmas, my whole family went to Disney World over Christmas break. This was the big last trip sort of thing with everyone and it was so special. I had been to Disney earlier that year in April with a school trip so I knew where everything was, not like everyone else in my family didn't. But it was so exciting to be with everyone and ride ALL the rides. I normally never go on the crazy rides. but I rode the Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, and Space Mountain. I rode Big Thunder Mnt. Railroad millions of times. I didn't get ride Rockin' Roller Coaster because I hate ride that go upside down. It's not jsut the rides at Disney. It is the everything. The energy. Just seeing the monorails, and then riding into the Magic Kingdom. I am over whelmed with a feeling of nostalgia and pure joy. It is like coming home. And Disney during Christmas? Something you do not want to miss. The Osborn Family light show is CRAZY. and fyi, it's not the Ozzy Osborn family. I can't wait till I go to Disney some other time. The are putting an Avatar area in Animal Kingdom and greatly expanding fantasyland. I can't wait till I go home.
I've been having a pretty good week. I had my District track meet yesterday. It wasn't my best day, but I have a week and specific things to work on to take Regionals. It would be awesome to get to States, just for fun. Not too sure where I'm going to go now with this post.
Oh one more thing, I can not be the only one that notices 17 magazine is drifting away from their affordable featured fashion pieces. Name one regular middle class teen who is ready to spend $58 dollars on a headband, or $149 dollars on some wedges? Teens want to dress fashionably, and want models of higher end stuff for us as readers to draw inspiration on to find cheaper alternatives, but it would be helpful if they were showing ways to find the alternatives, or show an example of high end expensive, then go a recreate the look under $50 bucks or some set price range. Teens need affordable, versatile pieces. And need help to accomplish that. Just my thought. i think I might try that. Polyvore up a set with expensive, then model the affordable next to it. If you ever have any ideas of things like that, or styles you want me to do that for, just let me know in the comments of my blog posts.

upcoming review and Hautelook

Today, I was sick and out school.  I am doing much better thought, and I will be back tomorrow. But because I was home, I decided to kill some sick time and browse the internet. I was on some website, Youtube I'm sure, but a Hautelook ad was on the page. And to my amazement, there was an Urban Decay sale today. If you are not sure what Hautelook is, it is an online store that offers amazing prices on women, men, and children's fashion, beauty & health, and home. They have a variety of different offers everyday. They change everyday, with new sales coming in and out and last as long as they have supplies. You have to have an account to view the sales, but it is completely free to join. I was told about Hautelook by the Youtube beauty guru budgetbeautiful (who has fantastic reviews, tutorials, and weekly sale alerts). There is no catch to Hautelook, no point system or bidding. It is very simple.**I'm not getting paid by Hautelook (considering this is my 3rd blog post) I just really enjoy the website and want people to know about it.

Anyway, I made my first purchase today. The check out was easy and no hassle. I always check the site, to see what new sales they have currently. I should get my item I ordered with in the next couple of days. I bought the Urban Decay Book of Shadows 4 (which retails for $64USD) and I got it for $29. Shipping was 4.95 making the grand total $33.95. I am so excited for this pallet. I love Urban Decay. I do not own much though, and I have never purchased full price for any product. I am extremely cheap. Full prices are there so they can be taken down to sale price. I've purchased from the actual Urban Decay website once before during a sale. I got an matte eyeshadow, a pocket rocket lip gloss, and lose pigment. Now, I have heard many mixed reviews on the Book of Shadows 4. Basically, it came down to if you already own an Urban Decay Book of Shadow pallet, then the colors are unoriginal. But seeing as I am new to UD, the pallet should be perfect. I have not gotten the product yet, so I can not truthfully give my opinion on originality, but I will when I get it. It comes with a liquid eyeliner, mascara, a famous UD primary potion, and a key chain speaker. Once I get my order and have time to mess around with it, I will make a review and post it here.
Farwell for now, but not for long.

lying sick

I woke up at 4:30 am today. Feeling like a crap. If I had no spinal cord, my head would simply fall off because of the sheer weight. I cannot breathe out of one nostril and I just feel blah. Since I woke up at 4:30, I felt that the time before my parents woke up would be an excellent time to watch Gossip Girl. It was. It's an excellent show, if you have never seen it, I recommend you go to Netflix and at least put it in Instant Que. I'm currently on season 2 episode 8. At one point, around 7 possibly, I thought my parents were coming down stairs so I switched over to Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I've only ever seen it once before, but the movie is so fantastic. Audrey Hepburn is beautiful and classic. Just hearing her sing Moon River made me feel better. My Fair Lady is also an amazing movie with her in it.
My cat has become rather cross with me. I was down stairs on the couch all morning, but when I come into my room, she is laying on the blanket on my bed. She normally does with when I leave. Anyway, I was rubbing her head and chin nicely, then she starting biting my hand! She did it a couple times and I bobbed her on the head with my hand, softly I might add. Now she is cross. I guess I must leave her be for a while. My cat is rather strange and very special needs. She just acts funny. Currently, she is resting her palm up on a pillow, her head on her paw, and she is starring philosophically out the window. Funny thing.
Farwell for now, but now for long.
