The 7 year blog post

Currently reading: Summer ass assignment (Cold Sassy Tree)

I really don't have some sassy intro for this. But this is a newflash/update/weather alert.

Every time I walk down stairs, I regret it. Because my room is perfectly chill and nice and everything a comfortable living space should be in the summer. The down stairs, is not.

This blog entry has taken my about 3 days to complete. This is day 3.
I thought it would be worth mentioning that a comment of my was the top comment on a video. This has never happened.

Needless to say, this was a damn ass highlight in my day.
So as I thought about this and as mydamnchannel liked the post I made on tumblr, I wanted to talk about my presence on the internet.
I've been around for awhile. I've gone through different Youtube channels, so saying that I joined in 2010 is inaccurate. 2007 would probably be around the time. But I've had subscriptions and people I've watched forever. And like I've said in a previous blog, I've never made videos. and so my interaction with these amazing people has been limited. And it just hurts even more when I see vidcon videos and think "That honestly, could be me." I crave friendship like the ones people have on youtube with other youtubers. I want to be apart of a community. Tumblr, especially recently, has given me that little bit of community that I wanted. But I still want to be part of this Youtube community that I have observed from afar for so many years. So I wanted to make a list of things when I have interacted with internet.
after procrastinating for ever, and watching a Joseph Birdsong live show, I decided this is creepy as hell.

I have yearbook camp in a week, so yeah, get to plan the yearbook! I'm not one of the editors this year, but I plan to be senior year. It will be a fun few days, the girl that will be a co editor is really awesome so it will be cool to hang out with her
. But this crazy ass thing is going on. We are meeting the new yearbook teacher AT CAMP. WE have no idea who it is, so i guess we just meet them there? Hell if I know. I guess we will figure it out!

Can't wait to do a recap of yearbook, then I have friday, THEN I'm at the beach for a week. And i think I don't have internet. Just speculating. I have internet at camp, but non at the beach.
I've gained a lot of new followers on tumblrs. It's really great. God, people are so cool.

#Trending: Denim

I've really neglected this blog as a beauty and fashion blog. So, in the spirit of the fourth of July or some shit, I will give you an Outfit Of The Day and my comments on ever growing, never dying trend :Denim.

So I flip through the pages of my seventeen magazine and I feel like all I'm seeing is Denim and jeans and all that JAZZ! I felt this trend coming a long time ago, so I feel a bit accomplished as a fashion predictor. ;D But the denim fad has never faded. Jeans are classic, and a staple in a wardrobe. The funny thing is that there is always a love hate relationship with a pair of jeans. Jeans can make you hate yourself when trying them on. And as a bigger girl, jean shopping can be, is hell. It's terrible to try to find something that fits my ass and my thighs. PLUS, I like wearing skinny jeans because any other cut around the ankle makes my leg look bigger, and that is not the look I'm going for.

The thing about Denim, it comes in everything. I personally believe that a girl needs a good jean jacket in their wardrobe. It pairs great with any skirt to complete a look. I've seen many amazing jean jackets DIY'd. Another thing that has gotten the hipsters busting out their studs and bleach are shorts. Oh my gawd, Denim ass shorts. I've seen them studded, dyed, bleached, torn, ripped, ombred, and painted. And it is a interesting idea. You are really able to play with something that is so basic and make it a major statement piece. So if you have not seen enough of these DIY'd jean shorts, behold:

Have you ever became so bored that you felt it necessary to take a pair of shoes the glue scrap denim on them with Elmers glue? Darling, I've been there. And I am over all happy with the outcome. I think they look nice and it actually helped the shoes become sturdier, as they are freaking old. I actually spray painted these shoes silver for homecoming. They turned out great then. I have terribly wide feet and finding a shoe that will fit me is a miracle. My sister had these shoes and since they were stretched out, they fit my feet alright, besides being a size 9 when I'm an 8. But the glue actually helped the become
more solid, therefor fitting me feet.

This is the outfit I planned.
Shirt: Old Navy
Shorts: hand me down from sisters friend, cut to make shorts
Shoes: Explained
Purse: Goodwill

This was my first time try at an outfit of the day. Honestly, I had set up this outfit two days ago and I loved it! This was the first time I wore my DIY's to hell denim shoes. They look like a hot mess close up, but farther away, they look really nice :)

Look who is rocking the hell out of that ridiculous farmers tan. Thank you track.

Dancing it out.

Overall, this was very fun. It actually gave me a lot of confidence. I hardly take pictures of myself. I'm really happy with how this turned out.
Comments and messages are always welcome. My info on how to contact me will be to the right of the screen. So if you wanted to message me on tumblr, go for it.
I'll have an update post up tomorrow talking about what I've reading and what I'm doing this july

So. I had this idea today.
Basically, everyone I love was at vidcon and the people I love are friends with other people I love. For example, HayleyGHoover hanging out with DK1. I've been on YouTube for a long time now, but I've never made a video. (Actually a lie, I've made them but then I deleted them, stupid as hell they were) BUT The only way I interact with these awesome people is through Tumblr and Twitter. I need to make videos if I want friends. So a couple days ago, last Thursday I believe, I had this amazing idea. I'm going to vlog my entire senior year. The things is, I'm not an up coming Senior. I'm going to be a junior. So i have to wait a year. Which kind of sucks. But it will be worth the wait. I will get to vlog going to colleges, Prom, Graduation, my acceptance letter, state track meet, being the editor of the yearbook. It will be a huge year and it will would be great to have a reference to it. And maybe I could help people going into their last year of High School. I'm not expecting to get famous or some shit. But having videos and an interesting video project will give my confidence to readch out to people to become friends. SOOOOO. I am making a goal here and now. I WILL GO TO 2014 VIDCON. I SWEAR ON SHERLOCK'S SCARF.
shit just got real.

I've been procrastinating my summer assignments. I'm working on it. It will be done in a timely manner.

My room is getting to point of clean.

Yearbook camp in 15 days! Thne the beach! THEN THE OLYMPICS. gawd
