Day 2

Cleaning my room and trying on clothes. I officially have no jeans that fit me. My stomach had taken over. I fee like it's me against my body. I've done very well today. I had my Breakfast, and this veggie medley that my mom makes out of fresh vegetables in our garden with our homemade tomato sauce. I haven't been counting that into Livestrong, but I mean it's not a lot, little to none really. It's all extremely healthy. I'm avoiding sugar when possible. NO SWEETS. I mean, I know things are good in moderation, but I just don't want to get into the habit of eating sweets because when you eat them, you want more afterwards. So that cookie turns into five.
I just did 100 squats. Last time I did about a week ago, I literally couldn't walk for about 2 days. Hopefully, it won't be to bad, I return to the gym tomorrow. I'm kind of excited because I know I will be burning the hell out of some fat. I'm taking control of ma life, bitches.
This is frustrating though. It really is. You want quick results. Not saying I'm not patient enough to stick it out, but I just want things to happen now. To bad I have no adipose pills (Doctor Who reference)
In other news, I went to town and bought some more school supplies. I need to bust a move on my summer assignments, they are due the 13th. So, this means, I'm have to leave, to bust a move on some papers and comps! Wish me luck! :D
Ps. I have now added a widget to track my weight on my blog. It's directly from Livestrong, so when I update my weight lose, you'll see it!
Also: blogging is going to help me, I won't be blogging everyday, but I will be upadting at least once a week.
k bye

Week One

I am at a point right now, this very second, where there is nothing I want more is to be smaller. I currently weigh 231 pounds and I hate myself. I hate the way I look, I hate they way I feel, and I hate the way I can never find clothes. I look terrible. I can't even go shopping without having a break down when I get home, or even in the store. I'm stressed out and I'm tired of hating my life. I was suppose to  work out this summer. I did for two weeks then stopped. I could partially blame it on someone who was working out with us, but all in all: It was all my fault. So now, I'm on Livestrong.com with a goal of two pounds a week. This means I am allowed to eat 1269 calories per day. So far, I'm doing alright. I took a trip to West Virginia Wednesday through Friday, where I could not update. I did alright but I know having sweets killed me. So why am I writing all this? Because I have a goal. I want to weigh 180 pounds and be a size 12, or what ever size 180 pounds would let me fit into. Once track begins in November, I will be loosing more weigh and still sticking to the diet of 1269 calories a day. But I do not want to wait till November to start. So my goal is by February, which is in 7 months.
I am going to make this happen. I am going to have a hella successful track year, because I'm going to make it happen. I actually just found a inspirational tumblr for being fit, and I'm hella motivated.
I am ready.

The 7 year blog post

Tumblr followers:91

Currently reading: Summer ass assignment (Cold Sassy Tree)

I really don't have some sassy intro for this. But this is a newflash/update/weather alert.

Every time I walk down stairs, I regret it. Because my room is perfectly chill and nice and everything a comfortable living space should be in the summer. The down stairs, is not.

This blog entry has taken my about 3 days to complete. This is day 3.
I thought it would be worth mentioning that a comment of my was the top comment on a video. This has never happened.

Needless to say, this was a damn ass highlight in my day.
So as I thought about this and as mydamnchannel liked the post I made on tumblr, I wanted to talk about my presence on the internet.
I've been around for awhile. I've gone through different Youtube channels, so saying that I joined in 2010 is inaccurate. 2007 would probably be around the time. But I've had subscriptions and people I've watched forever. And like I've said in a previous blog, I've never made videos. and so my interaction with these amazing people has been limited. And it just hurts even more when I see vidcon videos and think "That honestly, could be me." I crave friendship like the ones people have on youtube with other youtubers. I want to be apart of a community. Tumblr, especially recently, has given me that little bit of community that I wanted. But I still want to be part of this Youtube community that I have observed from afar for so many years. So I wanted to make a list of things when I have interacted with internet.
after procrastinating for ever, and watching a Joseph Birdsong live show, I decided this is creepy as hell.

I have yearbook camp in a week, so yeah, get to plan the yearbook! I'm not one of the editors this year, but I plan to be senior year. It will be a fun few days, the girl that will be a co editor is really awesome so it will be cool to hang out with her
. But this crazy ass thing is going on. We are meeting the new yearbook teacher AT CAMP. WE have no idea who it is, so i guess we just meet them there? Hell if I know. I guess we will figure it out!

Can't wait to do a recap of yearbook, then I have friday, THEN I'm at the beach for a week. And i think I don't have internet. Just speculating. I have internet at camp, but non at the beach.
I've gained a lot of new followers on tumblrs. It's really great. God, people are so cool.

#Trending: Denim

I've really neglected this blog as a beauty and fashion blog. So, in the spirit of the fourth of July or some shit, I will give you an Outfit Of The Day and my comments on ever growing, never dying trend :Denim.

So I flip through the pages of my seventeen magazine and I feel like all I'm seeing is Denim and jeans and all that JAZZ! I felt this trend coming a long time ago, so I feel a bit accomplished as a fashion predictor. ;D But the denim fad has never faded. Jeans are classic, and a staple in a wardrobe. The funny thing is that there is always a love hate relationship with a pair of jeans. Jeans can make you hate yourself when trying them on. And as a bigger girl, jean shopping can be, is hell. It's terrible to try to find something that fits my ass and my thighs. PLUS, I like wearing skinny jeans because any other cut around the ankle makes my leg look bigger, and that is not the look I'm going for.

The thing about Denim, it comes in everything. I personally believe that a girl needs a good jean jacket in their wardrobe. It pairs great with any skirt to complete a look. I've seen many amazing jean jackets DIY'd. Another thing that has gotten the hipsters busting out their studs and bleach are shorts. Oh my gawd, Denim ass shorts. I've seen them studded, dyed, bleached, torn, ripped, ombred, and painted. And it is a interesting idea. You are really able to play with something that is so basic and make it a major statement piece. So if you have not seen enough of these DIY'd jean shorts, behold:

Have you ever became so bored that you felt it necessary to take a pair of shoes the glue scrap denim on them with Elmers glue? Darling, I've been there. And I am over all happy with the outcome. I think they look nice and it actually helped the shoes become sturdier, as they are freaking old. I actually spray painted these shoes silver for homecoming. They turned out great then. I have terribly wide feet and finding a shoe that will fit me is a miracle. My sister had these shoes and since they were stretched out, they fit my feet alright, besides being a size 9 when I'm an 8. But the glue actually helped the become
more solid, therefor fitting me feet.

This is the outfit I planned.
Shirt: Old Navy
Shorts: hand me down from sisters friend, cut to make shorts
Shoes: Explained
Purse: Goodwill

This was my first time try at an outfit of the day. Honestly, I had set up this outfit two days ago and I loved it! This was the first time I wore my DIY's to hell denim shoes. They look like a hot mess close up, but farther away, they look really nice :)

Look who is rocking the hell out of that ridiculous farmers tan. Thank you track.

Dancing it out.

Overall, this was very fun. It actually gave me a lot of confidence. I hardly take pictures of myself. I'm really happy with how this turned out.
Comments and messages are always welcome. My info on how to contact me will be to the right of the screen. So if you wanted to message me on tumblr, go for it.
I'll have an update post up tomorrow talking about what I've reading and what I'm doing this july

boop.

Hiya. So, I wasn't liking the title above on my blog so I changed it to something random. It said, Most likely wearing pants

Just popping in for an update.

So. I had this idea today.
Basically, everyone I love was at vidcon and the people I love are friends with other people I love. For example, HayleyGHoover hanging out with DK1. I've been on YouTube for a long time now, but I've never made a video. (Actually a lie, I've made them but then I deleted them, stupid as hell they were) BUT The only way I interact with these awesome people is through Tumblr and Twitter. I need to make videos if I want friends. So a couple days ago, last Thursday I believe, I had this amazing idea. I'm going to vlog my entire senior year. The things is, I'm not an up coming Senior. I'm going to be a junior. So i have to wait a year. Which kind of sucks. But it will be worth the wait. I will get to vlog going to colleges, Prom, Graduation, my acceptance letter, state track meet, being the editor of the yearbook. It will be a huge year and it will would be great to have a reference to it. And maybe I could help people going into their last year of High School. I'm not expecting to get famous or some shit. But having videos and an interesting video project will give my confidence to readch out to people to become friends. SOOOOO. I am making a goal here and now. I WILL GO TO 2014 VIDCON. I SWEAR ON SHERLOCK'S SCARF.
shit just got real.

I've been procrastinating my summer assignments. I'm working on it. It will be done in a timely manner.

My room is getting to point of clean.

Yearbook camp in 15 days! Thne the beach! THEN THE OLYMPICS. gawd

I adore the Olympics. I love watching Track and Field and Gymnastics. Swimming is good too.
I think David Tennant should have been the one running with the torch.

Physicians Formula, theBalm, Wet n Wild Haul #1

My First haul and swatch post! Today was an excellent day. I bought some really great products and awesome prices.

Physicians Formula

My First thing I will show is a set from Physicians Formula. I bought the Plumping Lip Color Palette in Browns, the Mineral Wear, Talc-Free mineral blush in Natural Glow, and the Baked Eye shadow Matte in Baked SoufflĂ© as a set for $7 at Ross. This was a steal considering many of Physicians Formula items are about 8-12 dollars each. I’ve never experienced much with Physicians Formula though I tried the duel Mascara in Blue.

Plumping Lip Color Palette in Browns
-I love the colors in this set of 4. The colors are neutral and perfect for my lips. #1 goes on pretty much like my natural lip color. The palette came with a little brush and I like it a lot. It's a flatter lip brush and it allows you to be exact with the lip color.  The set is in Browns but the colors do not stick me as being “Brown”. The colors in the palette are neutral and my first impression is good.

Mineral Wear, Talc-Free mineral blush in Natural Glow
-When I first think of a blush, I do not think of this. Though the packaging is nice and the product looks kind of promising, I was not impressed with the swatch. It showed up practically translucent. When I put the product on, it gave a little color to my cheeks. It's nice if you want to have something on your cheeks, but you wouldn't be using at night for any sort of dramatic look. But at first glance, I'm not really impressed. It comes with a little face blush brush, nothing new. I thought the bristles were to hard on the product, causing lots of loose powder. ***Later note, this product is shit. Don't buy it.***

Baked Eye shadow Matte in Baked Soufflé
-I've never used eye shadow before that was 1) Baked and 2) in the shapes of Pyramids. The colors are nice, but very neutral. They say they are Matte but there is some shine. The shapes are a little weird to use and are not my favorite way to have a product, but it looks nice. It comes with a sponge tip applicator on one end and the a sponge tip that is very small. Over all, I like this product thus far.

theBalm

I was excited to see theBalm in my TJ Maxx. I'd seen the products before, but in small quantities. My T J Maxx has more soaps and hair products then they do cosmetics. Little disappointing but sometimes you can score like I did. I bought the Oh So Colorful... bag that came with four products. Hot Ticked nail polish in Counterfeit ($14) , Stainiac lip and cheek stain in Beauty Queen ($17), Plump Your Pucker gloss in Tutti My Frutti ($15) , and Shady Lady eyeshadow in Jealous Jordana ($16). These are all full sized products and for $10, it was a steal. The value would have been $62 if everything was individual and the actual price of the set was at $56. The nail polish alone is worth more than what I paid. Taking advantage of stores like TJ Maxx and Ross are great ways to try products from some brands you might not be able to afford otherwise. I got to TJ Maxx just for the cosmetics to see what they have. I wouldn't have been able to try theBalm if I didn't have stores like this. I'm going to hold off my review on the nail polish till I've really gotten a chance to use it. I have put it on one nail and it looks gorgeous. I've never used nice nail polish, but now that I have, I don't think it will be easy going back to the cheapo brands I normally purchase.

Stainiac lip and cheek stain in Beauty Queen

-I've never used a cheek stain before. I've never actually used much of anything on my face, cheek wise. The product is an interesting one. You can use it for a lip stain and cheek. The color comes of sheer on skin and stays for a while. I've only used this on my lips so far. I actually used it over the Plump Your Pucker lip gloss and I have to say that my lips look amazing. The color was gorgeous and the stain made it look perfect. My only complaint is that the stain doesn't smell very good. It only smells right from the tube and I guess it is a good this it doesn't have a lip gloss smell because it is used for other purposes. It smells like gel makeup I used when I was little. Not a big deal and definitely not a deal breaker.

Plump Your Pucker gloss in Tutti My Frutti
 - Don't wear a lot of lip gloss. Normally it is too thick and goopy. This lip gloss is not. It has the right consistency and is not too sticky. I really love the color and it is very build-able. It says that it has Maxi-Lip, which is a plumping agent. It does plump your lips and in a very nice way. No looking like you had fail botox. It's hard to explain but it makes my lips look right. Right size with the right amount of plumpness. I would LOVE to try these in different colors. The color Tutti My Frutti is described as ripe melon and the scent is nice, almost kind of strawberry and melon.

Shady Lady eyeshadow in Jealous Jordana
-First of all, the packaging is awesome. The cheetah print is cute and it flips up to where there is a little mirror and then the actual eye shadow, magnetically closed. The color is dark, foresty green with a silvery, blue undertone. The picture makes it look black. Just from the swatches, the color is very good. You are give a good amount of product (3.4g). Overall, I'm pretty pleased with it, I don't have anything to say about the product.

Wet n Wild

I see Wet n Wild raved about everywhere. It's been a brand that has been around for ever but in the past couple years, they have really stepped up their game. The quality of the products are said to be amazing for low end drugstore, in particular the eye shadows. The only Wet n Wild products I've used are the Mega Last nail color, which I really like. So this little set I purchased had four products sample size, all inside a little makeup bag. I really like the make up bag. It's plastic, but the kind that will hold shape. The set came with Coloricon Eye Shadow Trio in 334 I'm Getting Sunburned, Megaplump Mascara, Megaslick Lip Gloss 568, and a Coloricon eyeliner in 705 Black. Value wise, it's not like you're saving loads of money or anything. The products are sample sized if that so the kit could be more targeted to trying out Wet n Wild. I paid $4 for the set, which isn't too bad. The original price was $8 which is a total ripe off (for reason I will mention with each product.)

Coloricon Eye Shadow Trio in 334 I'm Getting Sunburned
-All I hear on Youtube from my Beauty Gurus I follow is follow great the quality or Wet n Wild eye shadows are. Many of their shades are dupes for High End brands such as Mac and Urban Decay. With this product, when swatched, I could tell what they went my quality. With just a simple swatch the colors showed up amazingly. The texture was nice, not chalky.  My complaint with this is that the eye shadows came in a little plastic holder, not an actual case. You won't be able to travel with it which I think defeats the purpose of the idea of this set. Whatever. Maybe I'll DIY a palette (I'll make a post if I do that) Overall I'm very impressed with the quality of the shadows and I plan on buying more from Wet n Wild.

Megaplump Mascara, Coloricon eyeliner in 705 Black, and Megaslick Lip Gloss 568
-Because I have these three products swatched in one picture, I'm doing a over view of all of them under one. I have limited things to saw about each. First with the Mascara, I like the packaging and the color of the product. i also am a fan of the brush, nothing special. I have not had the chance to actually use the product. With the Eyeliner, I have positive things to say about it. Firstly, I do not use eyeliner. just never have been a fan of it and it doesn't look right on my eyes.I did like the texture of the liner. It was smooth and glided on easily when I did put it on my eyes. The pigmentation was nice. I've heard Wet n Wild eyeliners be compared to NYC liner (the worst liner you would ever use. It's hard, terrible pigmentation, doesn't work AT ALL) but I like this Wet n Wild brand. And the Lip gloss. You are given a small amount, hardly even sample size (.11 g). There isn't anything special to say about the lip gloss. It is a lower end drug store lip gloss. Though the texture on the lip is pretty good, not too thick and goopy, the scent of the gloss falls as it smells like regular, cheap lip gloss. The color was nice with gold undertones and I thick it's a very wearable shade. Overall, it's ok.

This was my first haul post and I hope you found this entertaining or useful. Comments are always welcomed for suggestions or anything you want to say!

New York, Babe.

Hey Darlin.
This is not even going to be a review. At all. Maybe I'll work on that today for y'all. (The Book of Shadows from UD) But on a quick note on that palate. The damn little portable speaker broke. I used it twice. ANYWAY
Since I've been away, I got to spend last weekend in my favorite place in the world. New York City. We were going for New Balance Indoor Track Nationals at the Armory. Gorgeous GORGEOUS indoor track facility. I was going to watch ma boys throw shot.  Hopefully, I will get to go. I want a really cool back pack. But New York. We stayed out of the city in Englewood, NJ. WE drove Friday night right after school then got back Monday at 1. I went to school the next day for a half a day so I could go to track practice. I was the biggest fail you could find. I packed THAT MORNING before school. I couldn't find my debt so I only had $75 in cash. So no shopping for me. I didn't feel too bad because I'm going back to the city in April with school. I won't get too much shopping in but I will get some at least. Let me share some highlights of my weekend though.
  • I went to Carnegie Deli and had the best damn cheesecake to exist asdfghjkl;'
  • Went to Carlo's Bakery. Ah. Too amazing.
  • Had the best Falafel in THE WORLD at a vender for $3.50
  • I'm a fatty

We also went to the Nike store which was MASSIVE. We rode the subway many times. One time we got on the D train instead of A and were managed to get on 167th street in the Bronx.  On Sunday we visited the 9/11 memorial. It was beautiful.
I want to live there. I want to be around the people and things and air and everything.
I love New York. I fell in love the first time I went. I don't remember how it feels to not want to be there. It's not just the street Falafel either. There is always something to do there. It is a huge contrast between where I currently live.

So now it is Spring! and I seriously need clothes. Everything is too big on me and it just crazy. I need to take a trip to Tysons Corner. I want to check out H&M's plus sized line coming on this spring. Here is an article from StyleItonline showing some of the pieces.

This is just a little post letting you know I'm not giving up on this blog.
Far well for now but not for long.
Lillie.
